Kidada Hawkins Named COO of Princeton Baptist Medical Center

Brookwood Baptist Health today announced Kidada Hawkins, MHSA, MBA, FACHE has been named chief operating officer of Princeton Baptist Medical Center, effective September 24. Hawkins joins the Brookwood Baptist Health System from Shoals Hospital in Muscle Shoals, Ala., having served as chief executive officer for the past three years.

Hawkins’ tenure in the healthcare industry spans more than a decade in a number of leadership roles in the State of Alabama. His career began at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital in Anniston where he served consecutively as director of marketing and assistant administrator before being named associate administrator. In 2010, Kidada joined St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham as chief operations officer of rural hospital operations in Blount and St. Clair Counties. In 2015, Kidada assumed his current role at Shoals Hospital.

According to Keith Parrott, chief executive officer, Brookwood Baptist Health, “Kidada’s accomplishments in the healthcare profession are commendable, and I am excited to bring his leadership to Princeton Baptist where he will be an immediate contributor. He will be an asset in this new role, and we welcome him with open arms to the Brookwood Baptist Health family.”
